Boston Pops
Damon Gupton, conductor
As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we honor two composers who helped shape one of America’s signature musical institutions. Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim’s work on Broadway broke ground and forged pathways, from their collaboration on West Side Story, to Bernstein’s On the Town and Candide, to Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd and A Little Night Music. Join us as the Boston Pops and some of musical theater’s freshest talent pay tribute to two titans of the Great White Way.
